LemurLeap. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

removal by Julie Splinters - -   Also known as Lemur Leap | Type: Adware

LemurLeap is an adware, which can show up on your computer from nowhere. That's because it uses unfair distribution methods that are also known as 'bundling'. Basically, LemurLeap can be recognized from its continuous pop-up ads that are set to 'remind' people about different kinds of offers, discounts and promotions. There are thousands of people who were tricked that these ads are showed by websites because they typically show up when you enter Amazon, Walmart, ebay and other shopping sites. However, if you see LemurLeap's ads, it doesn't mean that these websites are set to show them for you. It means that this program is on your computer. In order to stop LemurLeap and its pop-up ads, you should delete this program from your computer.

LemurLeap is distributed in a bundle with freeware applications as their component. Of course, you can download it on your machine manually as well, but if you wonder how it got on your computer without downloading it, that's how it did that. Once it gets inside the system, LemurLeap modifies several system's settings, including the start page, default search engine and new tab page. After that, program starts showing its ads on all web browsers every time you visit a shopping site. We must add one thing – LemurLeap is NOT a virus because it doesn't have a malicious code inside. However, it may initiate various unwanted activities on the system, so experts decided to include it to the listof 'Adware' applications. If you want to get rid of this program, follow a guide given below:
