This program mostly shows up when browsing the web and sometimes redirects its victims to some search websites that have nothing to do with the ones they are trying to reach. This is especially dangerous because it may redirect you to malicious websites and help for virus creators to spread their malware in this way. In reality, MySuperCheap and its pop ups are associated with Yontoo Layers Client, Yontoo PageRage and other programs that we have already reported about. These programs are also known for annoying advertisements and mostly are detected as an adware as well. So, in order to stop MySuperCheap adware, you should remove Yontoo from your computer.
HOW CAN I GET INFECTED WITH MySuperCheap?
Just like any other adware, Yontoo can be installed together with freeware and shareware. These programs always have some components that are listed on the components list, so don't forget to check them out if you don't want to find this or any other aware on your PC. Once it is executed, it installs the extension for MySuperCheap on user's browser, including IE, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, and then starts its activity resulting in annoying pop-up ads.
HOW TO REMOVE MySuperCheap?
In order to stop MySuperCheap's pop up advertisements, you have to uninstall the Yontoo from your computer. For that, follow these steps:
- Go to the Start Menu.
- Select Control Panel →Add/Remove Programs.
- Search for Yontoo or/and MySuperCheap in the list.
- Select the program and click the Remove button.
Additionally, remove its browser add-ons:
In Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools → Manage Add-ons → Extensions tab and remove Yontoo
In Mozilla Firefox:
Open Mozilla Firefox. Go to Tools → Add-ons and then the Extensions tab and remove YonToo.
