Your instructions for the complete removal of Nattly from Firefox is insufficient. I posted this solution on the Mozilla support site yesterday and today it is the recommended solution.

Nattly is a really tough cookie (pun intended). One frustrating thing about it is that once youve followed all the online instructions and theyre still not working for you when you start Firefox from the taskbar where you pinned it is that it still directs you to Nattly Search Engine. Just unpin it and then repin it from the desktop icon.

I trust youve done all the following (Windows 7):

    1. right click the desktop icon for FF and go to properties, then remove the Nattly argument from the end of the Target: line 2. use free SUPERAntiSpyware (or other) to remove the offending programs that keep writing Nattly directives to the registry (cookies too) 3. use Regedit on the command line from the Start Menu; click on edit > find and find all references to Nattly one by one, and modify each entry to read google.com (or whatever you prefer) instead of nattly.com 4. type about:config in the FF URL entry field and search for all references to Nattly and do the same thing here. 5. Reset FF by clicking on Help > Troubleshooting Information > click on the Reset button. 6. finally, use Windows Explorer to send the Nattly folder to the trash bin. It is found in C:/users/(user)/Appdata/roaming

That should do it. Dont forget to reset your home page to whatever you prefer. I use Google.ca
