What is Official-survey.co?

Generally speaking, it's risky to complete various surveys that are offered to you while surfing the net. That's because people are constantly reporting about increased telephone bills, an increased number of spam and other suspicious activities after completing random online surveys. Be aware that Official-survey.co is one of those misleading pop-up messages that may cause you various issues. In fact, it's an advertising platform that may randomly deliver pop-up messages claiming that you are 'lucky', has been selected to participate in a survey and win attractive reward after that. Unfortunately, we haven't managed to find a person who would have won at least a consolation prize after completing this survey. We highly recommend you to ignore Official-survey.co pop-up messages and NEVER accept those surveys because you will be asked to indicate your phone number, full name, email address and other personally identifiable information. Many people have been complaining about a telephone bill that increases weekly and about difficulties in opting out of a dubious service that has been subscribed after completing this survey. By the way, you may be tricked into installing other suspicious programs on your computer because Official-survey.co pop-up ads may offer you to update software. Be careful because those messages seem really reliable. However, if you really believe that software, such as Java, Flash, Media players, or web browser is outdated, you should visit its official website and download an update right there. Otherwise, Official-survey.co pop-up virus may trick you into installing another adware and make you experience continuous advertisements on your web browser, system slow downs, redirects and other inconveniences. Keeping in mind all these facts, you should not even consider ignoring Official-survey.co pop-up messages. Run a full system scan with Reimage or another reputable anti-spyware and get rid of an adware that causes those messages.

How can Official-survey.co hijack my computer?

Official-survey.co pop-up ads are caused by an adware-type program that seeks to spread other potentially unwanted programs and in this way promote affiliate websites, collect pay-per-click revenue, increase page rank or achieve other goals that are crucial for affiliate marketing. Be aware that such and similar programs can cause system slow downs, continuous pop-up advertisements on each of the web browser, fake update messages, and other inconveniences. In order to prevent installing potentially unwanted programs, you have to avoid installing unfamiliar freewares from suspicious download websites. Unfortunately, well-known download websites also promote bundled installers and trick people into installing unwanted programs. In order to prevent installing Official-survey.co virus, you should carefully check every notification while installing freewares. Note that 'bundled installers' do not distinguish from the outside. Therefore, you have to monitor the entire installation process of a freeware and carefully check with what 'additional components' it is filled with. For that, select Advanced or Custom installation option and look for check boxes claiming that you accept to install 'recommended' add-ons, plug-ins, toolbars or extensions. If you miss to opt out of 'optional downloads', you may later experience various inconveniences on your computer.
