  2. Go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Options’ and reset the startup homepage to, or similar search page.

Google Chrome:

  1. Click the Chrome menu button, select 'Tools' -> 'Extensions', find and other unknown extensions. Remove them by clicking Recycle bin.
  2. Now click 'Settings' -> 'Manage search engines' and change your default search engine.
