What is Plants Vs Zombies?

Plants Vs Zombies by Surf Island Solutions is a dubious application that pretends to be a legitimate game about a zombie invasion. However, it’s very important that you understand that it is not related to the original Plants Vs Zombies game. In reality, Plants Vs Zombies by Surf Island Solutions is a useless adware and a potentially unwanted program (PUP). Such negative categorization has been applied due to several downsides that this program features once installed on a computer. To begin, it must be noted that Plants Vs Zombies virus usually spread bundled with other freewares and infiltrate computers without asking for permission directly. As soon as it is installed, it may affect each web browser that is installed on your computer, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari, in a negative way by diminishing its performance, causing continuous crashes and redirects to a new tab with dubious offers (e.g. update software) or unknown domains, such as unfamiliar online show. In most of the cases, Plants Vs Zombies redirects occur after clicking on any of the advertisements delivered by this adware. Therefore, if you want to prevent exposing your computer to really suspicious websites, which may lead to virus or malware infection, make sure that you do not touch any of the ‘Ads by Plants Vs Zombies’.

In addition to that, it’s important to notify that in order to prepare customized Plants Vs Zombies ads, this app may drop cookies on each of your web browser, monitor your online behavior, collect personally non-identifiable information (search terms, websites visited, data entered in them, click, IP address, email address, PC’s location, etc), and transmit it to affiliated third-parties. To conclude, stay away from any content brought by this program because it may trick you into installing other suspicious programs. As its developers claim, “Additional offers that are 100% optional may be offered after installation. Search offers may include the option to change your default search, home page and/or new tab page.” Be careful and NEVER agree with such offers. In order not to receive them at all, remove Plants Vs Zombies virus from your computer right away. For that, we recommend using Reimage (Windows OS) or Webroot SecureAnywhere AntiVirus (Mac OS X).
