Quick Defrag. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

Quick Defrag is yet another rogue disk defragmenter from the same family as Quick Defragmenter and Easy Scan. It is installed via Trojans and fake online scanners. Once active, Quick Defrag will state that there is something wrong with your hard drive. It will report 11 hard drive and registry errors to scare you into purchasing the rogue program. It will also display numerous error messages when you attempt to launch programs or delete files. To further make it seem like your computer is not operating correctly, Quick Defrag will block other program and display fake error messages saying that this program cannot be opened because of a critical hard drive error. The message that you will see when you attempt run a program is:

Windows detected a hard drive problem.
A hard drive error occurred while starting the application.

Some examples of the fake problems it detects on your computer are:

Requested registry access is not allowed. Registry defragmentation required
Read time of hard drive clusters less than 500 ms
32% of HDD space is unreadable
Bad sectors on hard drive or damaged file allocation table
GPU RAM temperature is critically high. Urgent RAM memory optimization is required to prevent system crash
Drive C initializing error
Ram Temperature is 83 C. Optimization is required for normal operation.
Hard drive doesn’t respond to system commands
Data Safety Problem. System integrity is at risk.
Registry Error – Critical Error

As a typical rogue, Quick Defrag will display fake pop-ups. The text of some of the alerts you may see include:

Critical Error!
Damaged hard drive clusters detected. Private data is at risk.

Critical Error
Hard Drive not found. Missing hard drive.

Critical Error
RAM memory usage is critically high. RAM memory failure.

As you can see, Quick Defrag was made to scare you into thinking that your computer is infected or has some serious hard drive problems. Please do not purchase this bogus program. If you have already done that then please contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. Then please follow the removal instructions below to remove Quick Defrag and other malware from your computer as soon as possible.
