Surprisingly, SaferBrowser still keeps producing new browser hijackers every day. Today we have discovered that another one was just released. It is called Search.easysportsaccess.com hijacker, and, of course, it belongs to potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) category. There are no doubts that each of SaferBrowser hijackers (Search.mycouponsxp.com, Search.mysportsxp.com, Search.mydailyversexp.com) is untrustworthy and focused on web traffic generation to its sponsors websites, and as a result, you have to realize that using any of these Safer Browser’s search sites can lead you to infectious web pages. Why would you even use an unfamiliar and never-heard-of search engine when you can use a reliable one instead? Replace this rogue Search.easysportsaccess.com PUP site with Google or Bing search site and browse without worrying about suspicious redirects. To replace your homepage with a new site, you firstly need to remove Search.easysportsaccess.com browser hijacker from your computer. Otherwise, this doubtful program may set Search.easysportsaccess.com as you default homepage again and again. To remove Search.easysportsaccess.com, we recommend using Reimage or any other trustworthy anti-spyware program.

How can Search.easysportsaccess.com hijack my computer?

Search.easysportsaccess.com may take you aback you with an unexpected appearance on your computer. We are not surprised if you think that you did not install this program on your computer. Well, technically, you did, but you did not realize it. Try to recall if you have installed any free programs lately. If you happened to download a freeware or shareware from an untrustworthy website, there are great chances that you may have installed a bundled software pack. The software bundle is a pack of programs that are set to be installed together. Usually, it is named after one program’s name, which is popular and legitimate. Be very careful because such software bundles usually include some potentially unwanted programs as well. Moreover, installation setups of such software bundles rarely disclose information about the additional programs included, and the only way to reveal their existence is to perform a few security checks.

Steps to prevent installing extra software when installing free programs to your PC:

This is what you have to do:

  1. Check the “Privacy Policy” and “Terms of Use” documents. Read closely and look for statements that say you are about to install some extra programs together with the preferred program. Read the “Terms of Use” form as well and look for the same information.
  2. Proceed to the next installation step that allows to configure in what mode do you want to install the program you have just downloaded. Skip the Default and Traditional installation options and opt for either Advanced or Custom installation mode. You should see an expanded setup window with a list of suggestions to install bonus freeware or shareware.
  3. Opt out each of these statements to install only the preferred program. This way, you will lower the possibility to affect your computer with suspicious software.

If Search.easysportsaccess.com virus has already modified your browser’s settings, and you can already see it on your browsers’ first page as you launch the web browser, also if you can feel that your computer’s performance has significantly decreased, and it works way slower now, there is no doubt that Search.easysportsaccess.com is performing its doubtful activities on your machine without your knowledge. To find out how to terminate this computer parasite, proceed to the next page.

I have found this virus on my computer as well, I used anti-malware program. I have never used a search website that was on my first page (it was Search.easysportsaccess.com). I always go to google no matter what, so i did not experience Search.easysportsaccess.com redirects. Still, I am happy it is gone. Who knows what this questionable program can do while it is running in the background processes.
