Secret Service. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

removal by Ugnius Kiguolis - -   Also known as SecretService | Type: Rogue Antispyware

Secret Service is another bogus software, classified as a rogue anti-spyware application. Usually, this program sneaks into your computer through the use of Trojans and other malware. Very often, Secret Service is advertised on malicious websites that provides free online malware scanners. These scanners display fake results or warnings and suggest to download Secret Service in order to clean your computer. This rogue program may be also downloaded from its website, though, it is less common situation.

The main goal of SecretService is to make you think that your computer is infected with spyware and other malware. Once installed, it will perform fake system scan each time you log on to Windows. After each scan, this parasite will show numerous infections. These infections, though, are all fake. What is more, Secret Service will constantly display fake security alerts and warnings about serious security threats. These alerts are very similar to Windows Security Center alerts, so it is very easy to confuse them with the real ones.

While running, Secret Service will install a malicious Browser Helper Object that constantly displays very annoying advertisements. Most of the time, these advertisements will display fake notifications about Internet Explorer security problems and etc. Various redirects to malicious website may also appear. Last but not least, Secret Service will dramatically decrease your computer performance. It can even download additional malware onto your computer.

If you are finding Secret Service on your computer, please do not purchase this software, because it is a scam. Instead, please use the guide below to remove this parasite from your computer for free. Removal delay will only worsen the situation, because Secret Service may download additional parasites onto your computer.
