What is Undeaddies Toolbar?
Undeaddies Toolbar is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that is closely related to ask.com. At the first glimpse, this browser add-on may seem like a reliable application offering to play free games related to zombies, for example, raise a ‘virtual zombie pet, create zombify photos’ and other functions related to zombies. Unfortunately, it seems that this application has more downsides that positive features. Undeaddies Toolbar, no matter how it manages to get inside a computer, it immediately changes default homepage and search engine from your preferred Google, Bing or Yahoo to ask.com. As soon as it changes web browser’s settings, it may take over control of user’s search sessions. That’s why we strongly advise not to use this search site. If you would rely on it, you may face difficulties in finding information that you need and later experience various computer-related issues. Beware that Undeaddies Toolbar may provide you with altered search results that may be filled with sponsored links to affiliate websites. Besides, some of those websites may seem reliable and legitimate, but in reality, may be filled with various ads, links, fake alerts and similar things that may lead to or malware infections. Moreover, this dubious program may try to record your browsing activities. Even though such activity is not considered as illegal, but having in mind that it’s implemented behind your back, you should not ignore this.
How can Undeaddies Toolbar affect my computer?
Even though Undeaddies Toolbar can be found on its official site and other download websites promoted as a tool for playing games, you should not think blindly that it’s a reliable plug-in and avoid using a search engine that it may set after infiltration. We say so because this questionable toolbar is mostly spread bundled with various free programs and used for implementing suspicious activities. If you accept using it, you may experience redirects to unsafe websites, see annoying ads, and may end up with another potentially unwanted program on your computer. To avoid downloading browser hijackers, adware and other potentially unwanted programs that are very commonly distributed along with free programs these days, you should be more attentive during installation of new programs on your computer. ‘Optional download’ that are traveling along with your preferred program cannot be seen anywhere else except on the installation process of a freeware. You may notice suggestions to change homepage or default search engine. However, we do not recommend doing so because you may accept with the installation of this and other questionable programs. If your web browsers have already been infiltrated, and you noticed Undeaddies Toolbar redirects to sponsored websites, you should not wait longer.
Recently, the developer of this program contacted us asking us to remove this post from 2-spyware.com website. We believe that we shouldn’t do that as long as programs that we offer for the removal of Undeaddies Toolbar can detect it and help users to remove it from the system. As it is mentioned under each of download buttons, we ARE affiliated with these anti-malware programs, and while some of them are free, others can remove a virus only after purchasing them. These mentions fully fulfill each of the requirements of FTC.
Nevertheless, we have recently decided to make a revision of this and other posts that are related to this developer. We claim that all of them are described properly.
