Windows Action Center. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

removal by Jake Doevan - -   Also known as Windows Action Center virus | Type: Rogue Antispyware

Windows Action Center is a dangerous virus, which clearly tries to mimic legitimate Windows Action Center that belongs for Windows 7. It tries to look like a typical Windows-based security module and displays genuinely-looking notifications about the dangerous state of user's computer. Of course, after doing that it offers to purchase its licensed version/register it and remove viruses or fix detected problems. However, that may be only a tricky way how scammers seek to swindle your money, so make sure you are dealing with the right version of this application. Be aware that there is a fake Windows Action Center spreading around. This virus is categorized as rogue anti-spyware and belongs for the name-changing group of viruses called Braviax. Please, do NOT fall for this fake program because it only tries to trick you into believing that it's legitimate. You must remove Windows Security Center virus without any delay.

HOW CAN I GET INFECTED WITH Windows Action Center?

Windows Security Center virus is spread just like previous threats from the Braviax group and can easily come inside the system without any permission asked. This virus clearly relies on Trojan horses that use security vulnerabilities for entering the system undetected. As soon as it gets these, it modifies the system, disables legitimate Windows Security Center and starts showing its fake windows with Windows logos in the corner. Just like any other rogue anti-spyware, it reports about dangerous infections, problems with your firewall or malware protection, and then offers to download some security program in order to remove/fix them. In reality, the fake Windows Security Center has no capability to detect and remove cyber infections and tries to promote one of these MultiRogues and steal your money in this way. Remember, the real Security Center would never ask to purchase other software. Please, never pay the money for Windows Security Center virus or other malware from Braviax. You must remove this scamware ASAP.
