WiniShield. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

removal by Julie Splinters - -   Also known as Wini Shield | Type: Rogue Antispyware

WiniShield is a misleading anti-spyware application from the same family as WiniFighter and WiniBlueSoft. Once installed, it will display false system security threats and then will prompt you to buy a full version of this program to remove those threats. The application will also display fake security alerts to convince you that your computer is seriously infected. You should uninstall WiniShield from your computer as soon as possible. Removal delay will only worsen the situation.

WiniShield is a typical rogue security program. This security risk can be downloaded and installed manually, but most of the time it enters the system with the help of Trojan viruses and other malicious programs. The rogue program is also promoted through the use of fake online anti-malware scanners. These fake scanners display pop-ups and warnings about serious computer problems, though your PC is actually clean. One of those fake alerts reads:

“WiniShield Scanner suspects dangerous spyware on your system!
Detected malicious programs can damage your computer and compromise your privacy. It is strongly recommended to remove them immediately.
CoolWebSearch (CWS)

While running, WiniShield will perform fake system scan and then state that your computer is infected with spyware, adware and Trojans. The scan results are false. You can safely ignore them. This misleading application will claim that you must purchase Wini Shield to remove those infections. However, do not purchase it. It’s nothing more but a scam and obviously won’t clean your computer. What is more, WiniShield will display legitimately looking system warnings from Windows task bar. It can be quite difficult to close those alerts. To make things worse, this parasite will slow down your computer and hijack your Internet browsers. It will also block all found security programs.

If you find that your computer is infected with WiniShield, please use the removal guide below to remove this infection and any related malware from the system manually for free.
