SpyToaster uses false positives. We have scanned the registry, memory and all hard disks of absolutely clean system. The application found one harmful registry entry, related to an adware, published by ElbitVflash, Inc. (see screenshot below). Analysis showed that reported entry actually is related to fully legitimate eMule peer-to-peer program and doesn’t possess any threat. eMule is not bundled with adware or spyware. It isn’t associated with BearShear, another p2p program.
Free version refuses to remove any parasites it found and asks to register and purchase full commercial version. Updates are disabled.
The program is a clone of The Spyware Detective, PC AdWare SpyWare Removal, Super Spyware Remover, WebSafe Spyware Secure and other similar products. It has slightly modified interface, uses the same spyware definitions database and produces very similar, often identical scan results.
The official site is spytoaster.com. It lacks adequate information about the product and its vendors.
We DO NOT recommend purchasing and using SpyToaster.
