by Lucia Danes - - | Type: Corrupt Anti-Spyware

SpyWiper is a discontinued corrupt anti-spyware program. Its official web site www.mailwiper.com is still active, but is no longer associated with the product. We couldn’t find any working SpyWiper installation packages and therefore didn’t test the application (it must be noticed that SpyWiper didn’t had any free or trial versions). Nevertheless, we received a lot of complaints from our users blaming the SpyWiper’s vendor for numerous web browser hijacks, deceptive advertisements and unsolicited automatic software downloads. Federal Trade Commision (FTC) confirmed this information and took the decision to prosecute the vendor and stop marketing the product.

Although today it is really hard to find SpyWiper we highly recommend you to avoid it at all costs! If you are still using this product, uninstall it immediately. SpyWiper is illegitimate and CANNOT protect your computer!
