Top10Reviews SpyScan

by Lucia Danes - - | Type: Corrupt Anti-Spyware

Top10Reviews SpyScan appears to be a discontinued corrupt anti-spyware program. Its official web site anti-spyware-review.toptenreviews.com is still active, but no longer offers the product. We were unable to find any working installation package of Top10Reviews SpyScan and therefore couldn’t test the application. Nevertheless, we received several user reports stating that Top10Reviews SpyScan produces false positives detecting parasites in absolutely clean systems.

Top10Reviews SpyScan actually is not a real spyware remover. It is designed only to detect spyware, but not to eliminate it. The program is free, but ineffective.

We think that Top10Reviews SpyScan may be a rip-off of legitimate Webroot Spy Audit tool. The screenshots we saw tell the same. However, we cannot be absolutely sure, as the program was not tested.

Although in the case with Top10Reviews SpyScan we cannot provide our own incontrovertible evidence, we DO NOT recommend using this product.
