The latest version of TZ Spyware Adware Remover is a corrupt anti-spyware program that uses false positives. We have carefully tested the program on several absolutely clean computers, which were never infected with any spyware or viral parasites. However, the application managed to find 8 infected components. In a scan report we saw 5 harmless cookies from legitimate Internet resources identified as “spy cookies”, the nwiz.exe file recognized as the Gaobot.ADV trojan, but actually related to NVIDIA graphics card drivers, one registry entry of the mIRC chat client detected as the Incef worm, and the AppInit_DLLs registry value reported to be the Satiloler.e trojan. See a screenshot provided below.
A free version of TZ Spyware Adware Remover refuses to remove any malware it finds, although its vendor calls it trial. As you know, the real trial provides full functionality, but works only a limited period of time. Free version of TZ Spyware Adware Remover is definitely not a trial. See another screenshot.
The program is a clone of another rogue product – BPS Spyware & Adware Remover. It uses the same spyware definitions database, produces very similar scan results and has almost identical user interface.
The official web site is www.trackzapper.com.
We DO NOT recommend purchasing and using TZ Spyware Adware Remover.
