News-ropaki.cc ads are the result of a being scammed online

If your desktop is constantly being spammed with News-ropaki.cc ads, you have probably been tricked by a fake message online. In most cases, users end up on phishing websites by accident when they press a fake link somewhere else. Since the redirect is unexpected, some people view the message as something ordinary:
Click Allow if you are not a robot
If not thought through, this alert might seem like the usual verification technique used by many legitimate websites (similar to captcha) to protect from DDoS attacks.[1] If the “Allow” button is clicked at this point, users permit News-ropaki.cc to send notifications at any time directly to their desktops, as long as the browser is operational. Note that other requests could be used – you might be told that you need to allow video playback or that you have won a gift, etc.
The result of this is unpleasant, as the affected users need to deal with intrusive pop-ups that show up randomly – they aren't triggered by any user action whatsoever. It might significantly diminish the user experience and even put them in danger due to the poor quality of ads shown at all times. This article will show how to get rid of them for good.

Removal of annoying push notifications
The push notification feature has been around for several years now, and crooks have learned how to abuse it to their advantage. They can use it to insert ads and links to sponsored websites, which might not always be secure or trustworthy. By delivering ads this way, they rely on a portion of users not knowing what they are or how to get rid of them.

Those who don't realize that they have been tricked into subscribing to push notifications to be received from a malicious website often assume that the pop-ups are caused by some type of malware infection. Ultimately News-ropaki.cc ads are not the result of an infection, at least not a direct one (redirects to suspicious websites might be, however).
In order to stop the annoying pop-ups, you should access browser settings and block the website's URL to prevent sending you push notifications. This can be done with any other website out there, be it legitimate or not.

Why do I encounter News-ropaki.cc redirects?
Malicious links
Most users would end up on a phishing website by accident. While legitimate websites might be sometimes hacked and malicious scripts or ads inserted into them, there is no doubt that this activity is more prevalent in websites that are poorly regulated and do not adhere to security standards – torrents, X-rated, copyrighted material streaming, etc.
These sites contain malicious links or, sometimes, automatic scripts that would take users to News-ropaki.cc or a similar phishing website. Naturally, the best way to avoid this is by not visiting dubious websites in the first place. Employing an effective ad-blocker can also prevent the execution of malicious scripts.
Adware
In order cases, encounters with phishing content can be attributed to adware[2] installed on the system. Its presence might not always be known to people, as potentially unwanted programs are distributed in deceptive ways, including fake updates or bundled software.
In order to check whether your device is infected, you should perform a quick scan with SpyHunterCombo Cleaner, MalwarebytesMalwarebytes, or another powerful anti-malware tool. It would ensure that your device is free of any kind of aggressive adware or malware within just a few minutes. You could also check for unwanted extensions and programs yourself, as we explain below. Keep in mind that the manual method is not always effective, as some malicious components might be left behind.
We also recommend clearing the browser from cookies, caches, and other web data after the elimination of unwanted apps. This would ensure that trackers are eliminated, and various third parties can't track you anymore. Keep in mind that most visited websites and applications use trackers,[3] so it is worth removing them from time to time. You can do that automatically with FortectIntego, which would also help you to fix any damage done to system components by malware.
