CloudExtender is the reason why you see those intrusive pop-up ads on your PC screen

CloudExtender is an adware program that intrusively displays various ads via victim’s web browsers. Typically, these ads display suggestions to play online games, install browser toolbars, join suspicious memberships or visit adult-only sites.
If you noticed that your browser is unstable and triggers new pop-up windows when you click on random places on websites you’re browsing through, you should scan your computer to detect the adware[1] that influences your browser in such negative way. CloudExtender removal can be quickly completed using programs like FortectIntego, although you can also delete it manually.
Although at first, it seems that the only drawback of Cloud Extender is the annoyance it causes, there are many other problems you should be aware of. One of the biggest issues is this program’s ability to collect information about user’s interests.
It does not only display ads, but it also employs certain tracking technologies[2] to find out what Internet pages the victim mostly visits, also his search queries, IP addresses, and geolocation.
While such data does not fall into category of personally identifiable information, it CAN contain pieces of such data. For instance, everything you enter into search engines might be transmitted to Cloud Extender’s servers.
Besides, information such as how the developers of the adware store and use such information always remains a mystery, especially because this ad-supported program doesn’t have its own official website.

What is even more important is that you should stay clear of CloudExtender ads as far as you can. NEVER interact with them and never install programs they advertise! Otherwise, you risk placing a spyware/malware piece of your system, and we are sure that you don’t want that to happen.
On top of that, we discovered that this adware promotes deceptive sites that suggest investing money in binary trading business. Do not get on the hook – most likely you will get scammed. To stop these annoying ads from appearing on your screen, remove CloudExtender right now.
Ways to infect your PC with adware
Adware spreads with the help of software bundling technique, so most likely you installed CloudExtender alongside another free program that you recently downloaded from the Internet. In fact, that doesn’t mean that your PC got hacked or anything; you simply did not pay enough attention to software installation settings. To be honest, it happens quite frequently, besides, software distributors tend to hide suggestions to install extra programs in a way that makes it very hard to notice them.
To avoid installing suspicious software pieces, rely on Custom/Advanced settings during software installation. You want to make sure that matters are in your hands, so skip Default/Standard settings as they won’t provide you with a possibility to decompose the software bundle. After selecting the right settings, remove ticks from checkboxes saying that you agree to install some additional programs on your PC. That is all you need to do to keep spyware at bay!
