General information about Facts Right:

Questions about Facts Right ads

Facts Right is a potentially unwanted program (PUP), deemed as an adware. This adware application is very shady; on its official website, you cannot find any useful information about it. There is hardly any info on what is this program for; however, after a careful investigation of software’s Terms of Use, we have found out some interesting information. Take a look at these statements:

The Software installs a group of web browsing features and functionalities that customize and enhance your interaction with the websites you visit by displaying text, graphics, or other interactive content in your browsers […] may include, without limitation, browser extensions, tools, and applications.

It seems that by installing Facts Right, you might end up with more than just one program. What is more, Facts Right claims to display third-party ads:

The Software is supported by several forms of advertising, which will be displayed as you use your browsers, including, without limitation, banner and video ads, in-text ads, and links, web-browsing related ads, interstitial, transitional, search, and full page ads. These advertisements might be targeted to queries you make through your browsers […]

As you can see, Facts Right tracks your activity online and based on it, delivers targeted ads. We would like to admonish you that these ads by Facts Right might be deceptive; they might display content that might be completely unrelated to content on websites you might get redirected to by clicking one of such ads. The issue is, this adware seeks to promote particular websites that belong to its affiliates. Unfortunately, such web pages commonly are considered to be high-risk ones, needless to say, you should not wander through them. They might try to sell deceptive apps or convince you to install various freeware, but you should not agree to do so. You risk ending up with a malicious computer threat; if you do not want to expose your system to such hazards, we recommend removing Facts Right PUP from your system as soon as you can. You can use Reimage Reimage Cleaner Intego anti-spyware program for that.

Facts Right hijack

How did Facts Right hijack my PC?

You must be careful when you install new programs. Software installers are an excellent place for software developers to promote their products in an indirect way. While installing software, you might be indirectly asked to install some optional apps alongside your selected one. Sadly, in most of the cases, programs that are promoted this way appear to be unreliable or even infectious. To find the proposals to install such software, you should opt for Advanced or Custom installation settings instead of Standard or Basic one. This setup adjustment should provide a list of optional apps that can be installed alongside the main program. Deselect the tick marks next to such proposals to refuse to install them.

If you do not want to see Facts Right ads anymore, you should uninstall this program from your PC. To learn how to do it, please continue reading the information on page 2.
