Price Rocket is the asware-type intruder that aims to control the online traffic

Price Rocket is yet another untrustworthy application, which may start displaying questionable advertisements during your browsing without asking whether you want to receive them or not. Be aware that this program is set to deliver predetermined advertisements in order to drive visitors traffic to predetermined websites and generate financial revenue for the developers of this app.
In fact, Price Rocket is adware or a potentially unwanted program (PUP), which promises a lot of useful features, but, in fact, can do nothing but to slow down the system of the target PC and ruin the user's browsing experience. Be aware that it is usually distributed bundled with other freeware and shareware, so it's very likely that it will infiltrate your PC without being noticed. We will give a couple of tips on how to prevent this from happening at the end of this article.
If this adware enters the system, it may take over all the most popular web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc., and may start tracking you and your browsing activities. Don't worry, it can hardly reach personally identifiable information about you.
However, it may collect information about your:
- browsing habits search terms,
- most frequently visited websites,
- data entered in them,
- time spent in them,
- PC's IP address,
- email address,
- etc.
In addition to that, you should NEVER trust Price Rocket ads because it's not clear what websites they are linked with. In the worst-case scenario, you may be rerouted to an unsafe website managed by cybercriminals where you may end up with another suspicious program on your PC or you may even get scammed if you would decide to buy something there.
In order to avoid Price Rocket redirects, you should remove this adware from your PC without any delay. For that, try using anti-malware tools or security programs. Also, rely on tools like FortectIntego that can repair system issues for you.
PUP developers rely on deceptive spreading methods
Price Rocket spreads like all other adware. It means that this app may start showing signs of presence on your computer right after installing another freeware. To be more precise, usually, it spreads bundled with free programs, such as download managers, PDF creators, media players, games, and so on.
Therefore, if you want to prevent Price Rocket's or another adware's infiltration, you have to be very careful when downloading and installing free software on your PC. It's a must to check whether your selected freeware is reliable by reading EULA, Privacy Policy, users' reports, and similar information.
Besides, in order to check whether your selected freeware contains 'optional downloads,' it's very important to opt for the Advanced or Custom installation option (in contrast to Quick or Basic) and double-check every check box. Finally, you have to find and unmark ticks claiming that you agree to install a browser add-on, plug-in, toolbars, or extension. Otherwise, you may end up with the Price Rocket virus on your PC and you may further experience various inconveniences.
Make sure to remove Price Rocket virus fully
Price Rocket removal can be accomplished manually or automatically. The manual method requires attention and some knowledge, so not everyone can do so. The automatic anti-malware program method checks the machine thoroughly and can remove the threat.
You also should follow the termination with system repair checks too. This is how you get rid of the virus damage after the Price Rocket PUP infiltration. Select the method that you prefer and follow also the guide that is given below for the web browser resetting.
