I tried to end the cisvc.exe process, was given the usual warning...and cannot end it, I get an Access is Denied message. Any idea why?

I always have lock ups because of this process when I restart my session from session lock. I kill it in the process manager and afterwards everything is fine and dandy....weird

Like comments by others... this locks up my computer 2-3 times a day. I go to Task Manager and zap it under PROCESSES. In spite of warning I do not see any problems. It is NOW the first thing I do when rebooting.

This may be essential, but if you examine the process manager, it consumes 98 to 100% of cpu usage and causes serious performance issues. It can actuallly cause your system to lock up.
