AceBot is a tremendously backdoor trojan, which was designed for performing a lot of different destructive actions. Firs of all, this trojan is able to detect and disable antiviral software, installed on the target computer; this technique is very dangerous, because in result of this procedure various parasites can easily infect the system. What is more, AceBot also connects to ICR client and uses it for giving the hacker a remote control over the system; these actions are a real threat for user's private information (such as passwords or confidential messages), because the hacker automatically gets an access to it. Finally, this pest is also able to connect to various servers and download parasites from there.
AceBot properties: • Allows remote user connection • Takes and sends out screenshots of user activity • Sends out logs by FTP or email • Logs keystrokes • Connects itself to the internet • Hides from the user • Stays resident in background
