Remove Antivirus System Pro. Description and removal instructions

Title: Antivirus System Pro
Also known as: AntivirusSystem Pro, AntivirusSystemPro, Antivirus SystemPro
Type: Spyware
Severity scale:Antivirus System Pro severity is 70  (70 / 100)

Antivirus System Pro is classified as a rogue anti-spyware application because it uses misleading methods in order to scare you into purchasing this program. Usually, the rogue uses false scan results and fake security warnings. It states that your computer is infected with Trojans, adware or malware and that you should purchase Antivirus System Pro to remove these infections. Of course, these infections are all fake and don't actually exist on your computer.

This parasite is advertised through the use of Trojans, such as notorious Zlob or Vundo. It might be also promoted on various malicious websites. Once active, AntivirusSystem Pro will ostensibly scan your computer and list various fake infections or security issues. It will also flood your computer with very annoying pop-ups and security alerts. Here's an example of a fake Antivirus System Pro alert:

"Windows Security alert
Windows reports that computer is infected. Antivirus software helps to protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. Click here for the scan you computer. Your system might be at risk now."

Obviously, these alerts are also fake. If your computer is infected with Antivirus System Pro, please use the removal guide shown below to remove it immediately. Removal delay will only worsen the situation, because Antivirus System Pro will download even more malware onto your computer.

Unfortunately,
I was scammed on yesterday by this same program at my home PC. After I downloaded it, my entire PC just crashed and I could not understand why. Is there a way to contact these people for a refund? This is just totally messed up.

it had transformed itself into a different form now, it had created a folder called prefetch in c:windows and it had created a file .pf file in it. also it had created the exe inside the folderC:Documents and Settings\Local SettingsApplication Data

I got mine to come back up after I shut my system down and restarted. As soon as I saw the start image I went to Run then typed in taskmgr and it worked.

I can't get anything to come up except that bogus crap that, I feel for the last guy, was stupid enough to purchase. I immediately had muy card shut down that was the last charge on the account. I guess I have to take it to someone and get it wired off again.

Yes, it just took over!! Bastards.

I was stupid and gave my credit card info, UGH. I just canceled my credit card 10 mins after trying to purchase this FAKE program 3 times. I'm an idiot! I couldn't even start to use this guide to remove it -- it just took over!

I agree with Erick. I can't open Taskmgr or any other file it says they are all infected. I can't do anything to get rid of it.

how can u even start taskmgr? if i try it says application cannot be executed. the file taskmgr.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now? and its like Yes or NO

On my system, this presented itself as vjqisysguard.exe in C:program fileswymmb. Then as vjqisysguard.pf followed by a long string of seemingly random numbers in C:windowsprefetch
