ErrorSmart – a bogus security tool that should not be trusted
ErrorSmart is not an antispyware software as it says but a smart new scam lurking online for potential victims. Usually, this fake security tool must be downloaded and installed manually from promotional websites, but sometimes it is distributed by Trojans, software bundles, and sneaky techniques alike.
Error Smart is presented as a reputable security tool, but the facts speak differently: it compromises the system by disabling firewalls and other security applications. It displays large numbers of fabricated security reports that are partially true because the rogue antispyware is able to download additional computer parasites on the infected device. Rogue antispyware software shows predetermined virus scan results to scare you into believing that your device is infected with lots of hazardous malware. Uninstall from Windows
Uninstall from Windows 10/8:
- Type Control Panel into the Windows search box and open the result.
- Under Programs, select Uninstall a program.
Uninstall from Windows 7/XP:
- Click on Windows Start > Control Panel (Windows XP users should click on Add/Remove Programs).
- In Control Panel, select Programs > Uninstall a program.
Remove the unwanted program:
- In the Programs and Features window, look for any recently installed suspicious entries, select them, and click Uninstall.
