Shopping Helper Smartbar (or toolbar) is yet another dubious application that causes many questions. First impression of this program may be deceiving because it is often promoted as a great tool for online shopping. It promises to show relevant ads, coupons and comparison deals for people's desired items. However, the reality is quite different. Shopping Helper Smartbar has been labeled as a browser hijacker, which may enter computers undetected and then initiate many unwanted system changes behind its victims' back. Once it does that, it may start such annoying activities as redirects to unknown websites and unwanted pop-up ads. In addition to that, Shopping Helper Smartbar virus may alter your home page/default search engine to a 'well-known' search engine Snap.do. As far as we know, you should stay away from this search website because it seeks only to drive traffic to affiliate websites. If you use this doubtful search provider, you may get altered search results that are filled with advertisements.
