WinPC Antivirus is a rogue application, fake spyware remover. This parasite is clearly a copy of WinPC Defender. Despite petty changes, WinPCAntivirus basically acts like many similar rogue anti-spyware applications. Once this program is downloaded and installed, it will display a variety of fake infections and security problems. What is more, the main goal of WinPC Antivirus is to scare the user and convince him to by a full version of this rogue for infections removal.

Usually, WinPC Antivirus is advertised through the use of malware or trojan viruses that display fake security notifications and pop-up windows with various infections present on the system. After infection, WinPC Antivirus continues these malicious tactics and we might even say, floods the system with security alerts about malware, spyware and adware infections. ok so i have trend micro internet security on my computer.. can anybody tell me how i got winpc antivirus ?? and btw i did a full scan with trend and it hasnt gotten rid of winpc...

ive done everything on the manual removal except deleting the exe file as i cannot find it ?
the winpc doesn't pop up or anything anymore
but my comp is still crashing and is not at normal speed

I've done everything on here, the program is gone but my IE still doesn't like me. It opened a random pop up a couple of minutes ago! It crashes when I load it as well. I'm currently on my BT Yahoo browser to keep me going.

My computer is back to normal speed though, thank God!

i have winpc anti virus on my computer and i need to get rid of it but it always freezes when i try and open the internet so there is no way of getting on to this website to remove it

It appears executables st_1243459479.exe, and st_1243441052.exe should also be removed.

I did two scans...Windows Security Comprehensive and Symantec....did this remove WinPC or do I need to do something more? If I click on the download in the green box above will that fix it?

I was visiting VideoBlog site and this thing popped up out of nowhere, I cancelled download and yet it was already in computer, popping up all the time....I hope this works, but if I dont I will have to spend day and a half getting my computer up to par' but looking good so far, thanks.
