Priceblink – a browser extension that promises discounts but fills search results with ads

Priceblink is a potentially unwanted program, which is also often categorized as adware. While such programs are not malicious, beware that they may initiate various unwanted activities on your computer.
Once this program gets the ability to reach its target PC system, it may drop its own extension on all Internet browsers, including:
- Internet Explorer,
- Mozilla Firefox
- and Google Chrome.
Additionally, it may start causing its annoying activity, which is supposed to promote affiliate websites and earn money for its developers.
That's why its activity is based on various pop-up advertisements, notifications, and underlined words that report about discounts, coupons, price comparisons, and other tempting things. Nevertheless, you should also understand that Priceblink ads may try to redirect you to suspicious, unwanted, and very questionable websites.
There is no doubt that the app can show you information about coupons, promotions, price comparisons, and similar things. However, we haven't managed to find a person who has managed to save some money with the help of this program. Beware that it may cause not only these ads during your browsing.
According to PC security experts:
It may also start tracking your browsing on the web and may collect your search terms, mostly visited websites, data that you enter when visiting these sites, etc.
Also, it seems that this program also collects email addresses, PC information, and similar data. If you have been suffering from continuous Priceblink ads and other interruptions while you begin your browsing session, you should check your PC with updated security software and remove this PUP from the system.
For that, we highly recommend using SpyHunterCombo Cleaner or another reputable anti-malware. Besides, it is also recommended to fix virus damage with FortectIntego repair tool if system stability issues after Priceblink removal arise.
Potentially unwanted programs can be found bundled with freeware
Priceblink virus can be installed via a few methods. The first one involves the user's awareness and knowledge because it needs to install this program manually. For that, you need to go to its official website and download its installer. However, there is also another way how you can find the app on your computer.
This method can be implemented without permission asked because it is closely related to other programs, such as freeware and shareware. These programs have included the Priceblink virus to their components list in exchange for money.
If you want to avoid these programs that usually come along with the freeware and shareware, you should choose custom installation method and unclick unwanted applications.
Once inside and active, the program starts modifying the system and takes over the installed browsers. Additionally, it shows its commercial advertisements filled with price comparisons and similar things that should save you some money.
However, it may also track your browsing habits, slow the system down, and cause other things that encourage us to call this program a 'virus.' Please, remove Priceblink without delay, especially if you haven't installed it by yourself.
Remove Priceblink quickly
When trying to remove Priceblink from your computer, you should first try to uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs list. Below, we provide a detailed guide on how to uninstall programs from Windows and Mac systems – follow these steps carefully.
Besides, keep in mind that the app modifies various web browser settings in order to deliver advertisements and track users' online activates. To avoid that, you should also ensure that your web browser is properly cleaned and all the unwanted extensions removed.
Priceblink removal can also be performed with the help of security software automatically – it serves as a great alternative for those less experienced when it comes to computer usage.
