What is Framed Display?
Framed Display is a deceptive browser add-on that we do not recommend downloading to the system. If you would go to its official site, you would immediately notice the way its developers promote it. They claim: “Enhance Your Browsing Experience – Framed Display”. A more detailed description explains that this program manages to enhance people’s browsing. However, after installing this browser add-on, it becomes obvious that it is filled not only with positive features.
What this program really does? Once installed, it may modify your browsers’ settings, drop its registry entries, install various cookies and initiate other suspicious activities. Since it can easily operate on Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox web browsers, it can cause continuous pop-up advertisements that are typically sponsored by third parties. That’s because such and similar programs are designed for affiliate marketing, i.e. the main their intention is to drive visitors’ traffic to third party websites and increase their page rank or sales. Therefore, Ads by Framed Display and similar messages may typically appear as pop-ups and banners that offer certain services or goods. However, it is possible that some of these ads may be designed by cyber criminals. Thus, you should be very careful and avoid clicking on those ads. Please, stay away from these sites that Framed Display adware may redirect you to as you may end up with serious computer problems. Moreover, using this program may lead you to the loss of your private information as it is able to monitor people’s browsing activities. It works as a tracking cookie and gathers such information as computer’s IP address, search queries, top visited websites, email address, geolocation, etc. Having in mind that this information is accumulated and shared with unknown third parties, we strongly recommend removing Framed Display from the system. For that you can use FortectIntego.

How can Framed Display hijack my computer?
Framed Display is able to integrate into target computer in two ways. It can be downloaded from its official site or get inside via free software. As we have already mentioned in the section above, Framed Display is seldom downloaded voluntarily. However, if you are constantly downloading and installing free programs from the Internet, there is a big possibility that you will install this adware as well. It is already well known that the majority of free programs are sponsored by third parties; therefore, most of them are bundled with third party advertisements. In order to avoid downloading bundled programs, it is important to be careful when installing them. Choose Advanced or Custom installation mode and follow the process step-by-step. You may be offered to install various additional tools for free, for instance to add extension, add-on, plug-in or toolbar. It is not advisable to accept them.
