What is esellerateengine.dll? Should I remove it?

by Alice Woods - -

esellerateengine.dll is a library file that is responsible for implementing main parasite functions and running its destructive payload. The esellerateengine.dll file cannot run by itself and therefore needs to be loaded with the help of some executable files. However, certain parasites reconfigures the operating system or installs esellerateengine.dll as a plugin, so that the system or certain applications automatically load it on startup.
The esellerateengine.dll file is installed and used by UltraKeyboard.
You have to delete the esellerateengine.dll file immediately after you have found it. The parasite will continue to violate your privacy and harm your computer unless esellerateengine.dll and all related objects will not be completely removed from the system. If you have difficulties erasing the file consider using an anti-spyware program.
In some cases a presence of esellerateengine.dll does not mean that your system is infected. The file may actually belong to some fully legitimate applications and therefore must stay intact. If you are in doubt, please scan the esellerateengine.dll file using you regular spyware remover or antivirus program.
