Remove AdBlade ads (Virus Removal Guide)

removal by Jake Doevan - - | Type: Adware

Why may AdBlade ads be dangerous?

“AdBlade virus” is a common term, used by the Internet users to refer to AdBlade ads that suddenly start appearing on the browser after this program is installed on the computer. In reality, it is not a virus. AdBlade is a company which provides a “content-style ad platform” for different brand promotion. It claims to reach around 300 million unique users a month and advertise the content on more than 1,000 reputable sites. It is hard to tell, how much of these claims are true, but the website looks trustworthy, so it is understandable that companies (especially the start-ups) or websites may use this service to advertise their products. However, there is no guarantee that all the product and websites that AdBlade affiliates with can be trusted. What is even more concerning is that AdBlade hijack usually occurs unexpectedly, and the program starts injecting the advertisements against the users’ will. We doubt that a reputable software would use such shady techniques to carry out it services. It is also unfair to the users who are completely indifferent about the online advertising and do not wish to be interrupted while they browse the Internet. If you are one of these people, you should not hesitate and take care of the AdBlade removal immediately. You can use reliable antivirus tools, such as Reimage Reimage Cleaner Intego to achieve a quick elimination.

Figuring out that adware is installed on the computer may be difficult. With AdBlade, though, you will be able to tell that your system is affected very soon after the infiltration. The next time you reboot your computer after AdBlade infiltration, you probably will notice a significant increase in ads when you open your browser. These pop-ups, banners, sound ads, video ads and other commercials will be labeled as “Ads by AdBlade”, “Powered by AdBlade”, “Brought by AdBlade” or feature similar text. Usually, these advertisements will be generated to the according content of the website they are displayed on. Clicking on the ads will trigger the AdBlade redirect window to appear, showing some predetermined product or a website. You never know if you will end up on the safe side of the Internet or going to be thrown straight to the some dangerous virus-infested domains. This is another reason, why you should remove AdBlade from your computer.

The most common adware distribution techniques:

Adware usually travels in software packages together with freeware or shareware programs. So it is likely that AdBlade appeared on your computer after you accidentally downloaded and installed a software package containing this suspicious application. At this point, all you have to do is remove it, but if you want to protect your computer in the future, you should be more careful when installing new software. It is advisable to avoid the default installation setting in the software’s setup and always opt for the advanced more instead. This way, you will be able to see more detailed installation process and be able to cancel undesirable content manually.

Removing AdBlade from the computer:

If you have not remember installing it yourself, but still find AdBlade on your computer, it might be that simply uninstalling it from the computer using the Control Panel’s Add/Remove Programs feature may not be enough. If this technique does not work, you should scan your computer with a some professional antivirus software and see whether it detects any threats on your system. If it does, you will not have to deal with the AdBlade removal either because the software will automatically eliminate all of the adware components. The third option is to remove AdBlade from the registry. This is a more complex approach, but our team of experts has prepared comprehensive step-by-step instructions how to do that, so if you follow them attentively, you should be able to delete the virus without complications.
