Ads by Security Guard (Updated)
Security Guard ads Removal Guide
What is Ads by Security Guard?
If you want to download Security Guard, we recommend you to read this article first. You should think twice if it is really worth placing this program on your computer. Although it pledges to enhance your browsing experience, to ensure safe Internet surfing and protect you from phishing attacks, in reality, it has already aroused various discussions among Internet users and has even been labeled as a potentially unwanted program (PUP). What is more, this program is deemed to be an adware type program, too.
Security Guard. What kind of software is it? Is it safe to keep it on PC system?
First of all, you should note that Security Guard can track your online activities and send collected data to its developers who might further use if to improve affiliate marketing. Although it claims to be interested in personally non-identifiable information only (your browsing history, clicks, search queries, PC geolocation, e-mail and IP addresses), you cannot be sure whether it cannot find out some personal details about you, too. We have noticed that this software actually does not improve the browsing experience, but worsens it. It actually slows down the computer system, because it delivers much promotional content to user’s screen while he or she browses the Internet.
“Ads by Security Guard” usually display various discount codes, price comparisons, vouchers, and other content that is supposed to save your time and money online. Well, in reality, these ads are only going to make you WASTE time because we are sure you are going to close them all. These ads are very intrusive; moreover, they are not useful at any point. You see, clicking on these ads can cause redirects to unsafe third-party websites. Such web domains sometimes try to convince users to install high-risk programs, that can appear to be adware or malware. If you want to avoid Security Guard redirects, you should stay away from this program and eliminate it as soon as you detect it silently working on the background of the system. If this program has already placed its files on your PC, we recommend deleting it with a help of a reputable anti-spyware software (for instance, FortectIntego (Windows OS) or Webroot SecureAnywhere AntiVirus (Windows and Mac OS)) due to several reasons.

How can Security Guard hijack my computer?
Security Guard is promoted on its official site where users can download it if desired. However, we have already explained why this program should be deemed as untrustworthy one. The biggest issue is that this browser parasite is often bundled with various freeware or shareware and this way it can infiltrate random computers without asking user’s permission in a direct way. You should put all your effort to avoid its installation. It is actually very simple. All you need to do to avoid its infiltration is to carefully install free software. Always take your time and read software’s Licence and Privacy Policy. Besides, it is important to select Advanced or Custom installation mode if possible, because it discloses the list of additional software components that you might not want to install. These particular installation settings let you deselect the agreements to install such optional software additions. If it is too late and Security Guard has already infiltrated your system, do not wait until it causes serious problems on your computer and remove it once detected. The removal guide is provided on page 2.
How to remove this PC intruder?
Security Guard is a controversial program that you should not rely on. If it has stepped inside your PC’s system together with another free program, it goes without saying that you have to eliminate it. We always recommend scanning your PC with reputable anti-spyware software because it does not only find this adware, but it also detects other potentially unwanted programs that may be hiding on your computer. Then, such software can delete such threats with ease. In case you do not want to use additional software to remove spyware, follow manual removal guidelines that can be found down below:
