Beastclick.biz – a deceptive portal with backgrounds designed to trick you into accepting notifications

Beastclick.biz is a push notification virus that seeks to deliver you deceptive ads directly to your screen or desktop. It does that by showing misleading prompts that change depending on visitor geolocation and device. At the time of writing, it urged to push the Allow button to download a file. Please don't trust this website and don't accept its notifications.
Redirects to such treacherous pages happen due to potentially unwanted programs, such as adware or a browser hijacker installed on your device. If your browser preferences (the default search engine, homepage, etc.) aren't manipulated, then it's adware.
When users accept notifications from shady websites like Beastclick.biz, they start to see ads in the form of notifications. These deceptive ads could cause a lot of problems. If you've pressed the Allow button on the article's culprit page, we'll tell you how to undo that. We're also going to explain how to remove adware and avoid various system failures.
| name | Beastclick.biz |
|---|---|
| Type | Redirect virus, adware, PUP |
| IP address | 178.62.225.201 |
| Purpose | Increase the popularity, sales, or other aspects of affiliated pages by showing their ads and causing redirects to them |
| Symptoms | Ads appear in the form of notification directly on the screen/desktop; unknown pages open on new tabs without against your will; the infected device is running visibly slower |

| Distribution | File-sharing platforms, fake Flash Player updates, deceptive ads, software bundles |
| Elimination | You can entrust the removal of any cyber threat to a reliable anti-malware software that's been around for decades |
| System repair | Cyber infections leave tons of traces on your device, which could result in an unstable working environment. Resolve all system irregularities by running system diagnostics with time-proven software such as the FortectIntego app |
As mentioned before, redirect to untrustworthy websites commonly happen because of adware infections. These PUPs are usually installed along with other software from software bundles and through other sneaky techniques. They're not as dangerous as malware but should still be taken care of swiftly.
Adware, just like Beastclick.biz virus, shows ads and causes sudden redirects to affiliated pages. By doing so, they generate revenue by increasing traffic to other sites. But since PUP developers only care about money, their promoted sites might have ill intentions and try to:
- install other PUPs,
- involve you in various tech support scams,
- infect your device with malware through drive-by downloads, fake Flash Player updates, etc.,
- lure you into gambling,
- draw out your personal details (credit card info, SSNs, phone numbers, etc.), and so on.
Beastclick.biz ads themselves are sometimes impossible to close, as pressing the “X” button either does nothing or opens a new tab with sponsored content. Depending on what device you're using, they will pop up either directly on the screen or in the top-right or bottom-right corners of your desktop.
Generally, push notifications are a great service that lets legitimate providers deliver the latest news, exclusive deals, sports updates, and other useful information directly to you. But cybercriminals misuse it for their own goals. That's why you have to watch out for sites like Beastclick.biz.

If you've clicked the Allow button on it, please scroll down to the bottom of the page, where notification removal instructions are displayed. But before that, we recommend scanning your device with reliable anti-malware software such as MalwarebytesMalwarebytes or SpyHunterCombo Cleaner to remove adware that caused the initial redirect to the deceitful website.
Once the removal is finished, it's time to take care of the overall health of your device's system because every infection leaves its mark on it. Therefore, IT experts[1] highly recommend performing a system tune-up with the powerful FortectIntego system repair app or similar software.
Never install Flash Player updates because its support was discontinued
Many people still don't know that Adobe has ceased support for Flash Player on December 31, 2020,[2] and urged everyone to uninstall this software from their devices for security purposes. Thus every ad or prompt claiming that this app is outdated is fake.
Downloading such a fake update might result in not only potentially unwanted program installation. You could infect your device with severe malware, such as ransomware, Trojans, etc. because you might never know what's hiding behind the curtains.

Ads/prompts pushing to install fake Flash Player updates are usually seen either on hacked or high-risk sites. If you ever encounter such a thing, please don't click on it. Close the tab or the whole browser, clean tracking cookies with system tune-up software, and never visit such a page again.
