What is BuzzSearch?

BuzzSearch (can also be called as BuzzSearch Deals) is a misleading program, which may look like a great tool for comparing prices and saving the money. However, no matter how trustworthy it looks for you, you should avoid BuzzSearch ads, that can be labeled as ‘ads by BuzzSearch’, ‘BuzzSearch ads’, ‘brought to you by BuzzSearch’, etc. We say so because of a simple thing – after clicking any of these notifications,, you can be redirected to the affiliate website of this program. In reality, BuzzSearch is an ad-supported browser add-on, so there is no surprise that it promotes predetermined websites. However, there is no guarantee that every site that is promoted with the help of such technology s safe. You can easily be redirected to a suspicious, questionable and even unsafe website. That’s why we think that you should never click these ads.

Besides, BuzzSearch has already been categorized as a potentially unwanted program and an adware because it relies on unfair distribution technique. With a help of such technique it can easily show up on your computer without your approval and then initiate needed system changes on it. Typically, these changes may involve the altering of your start page, the default search engine, extensions and add-ons list, etc. As soon as they are finished, you may notice browser’s redirections to unknown websites, annoying pop-up ads, slow downs and other activities that can not only be used to increase the number of affiliate visitors but to initiate mess on your computer. If you have already noticed continuous alerts that offer you to compare prices, notify you about coupons and similar deals or other annoying and unpleasant things, you should definitely check your computer for BuzzSearch adware. Just like Reimage, Bobrowser or Omiga Plus, it should be eliminated. because there is a great possibility that this program has infiltrated your machine. In this case, you should remove BuzzSearch from it without any delay.

I just discovered that I have had this on my computer (windows 8) for about a month. I believe it was attached to some image converting software that was downloaded a month ago. No matter what I do to remove it, it will not uninstall. It seems to have blocked any way to stop it from running on my computer. I also am having issues with Firefox not displaying pages and being very slow. It re-routes pages to malicious looking pages that Avast blocks.

I run windows 7 on my laptop. Not sure if this solution would work for windows 8. I was having trouble removing buzzsearch program from the control panel. I kept getting a popup that said I need to be an administrator to change program settings. My login account is an administrator account, but it got me thinking there are some fancy “block uninstall attempt” code in the program itself. So I restarted my computer in safe mode (pressing F8 when starting the computer will allow you the option of starting in safe mode with minimal drivers loaded). Once is safe mode, I was able to remove the program through the control panel without problems. Once completed, I restarted the laptop in routine fashion. Viola, the program was removed. Currently, looking through affected programs (internet explorer and Firefox) to see how they run now. Also running my virus software to make sure things are clean from that side. Hope this info helps if it gets to you.
