Why do I see Capricornus ads in my search results?
If your search results are filled with ads by Capricornus, you should be worried. The first thing that you must realize is that you are dealing with an adware-type add-on. This program was created by Jabuticaba Ltd., which has been developing such apps and spreading them with random free software packages for nearly a year. No matter that this particular program is not a virus, Capricornus can start showing you annoying ads as frequently as it wants. Beware that you may start noticing these pop-ups and pop-under ads EACH TIME you’re visiting your favorite websites. Moreover, these ads are likely to run on JavaScript, so you may not be able to close them quickly. In fact, the most of the affected PC users claim that they cannot be closed unless the “SKIP AD” option appears on the top right corner of the ad. Beware that it may take up to 10 seconds to close one ad displayed by this adware, so it would be wiser to stay away from this program completely. If you would like to finish Capricornus removal from your system with only one click, you should install a reliable anti-spyware.
Also, when this adware runs on the system, you may start noticing redirects to unknown websites. This technique is used by the developers of this malware to help sponsored websites increase their visitors’ traffic and sales. However, we cannot guarantee that Capricornus redirect won’t end up on malicious websites, which is trying to infect its visitors with serious virus. Finally, this program may try to track your browsing activity on the web for getting more knowledge about your browsing habits. If you want to keep your personal information private, you should stay away from this adware. If it has already appeared on your computer without your approval, we advise you to remove Capricornus virus from your system immediately. For that, please install FortectIntego or follow a detailed removal guide on the next page of this post.
