Besides downloading potentially fraudulent applications, the malware is likely to collect technical information about users’ PC or devices or even attempt to target more sensitive data – personal information. While some cyber criminals focus on elaborating ransomware, other felons craft Android malware.
There have been multiple cases when they hid their viruses under seemingly innocent Android apps. Furthermore, recently a more insidious malware campaign was detected.[2] Downloading an application becomes more risky as by clicking “download,” you may activate the malware even if no additional attachments are seen. Thus, considering the potential of this malware variation, make a rush to perform com.google.provision removal.
Safe behavior online cant prevent malware infiltration
Unfortunately, Android developers still have a long way improving their product. One of the key flaws is the absence of PC-identical browser settings. Since you can only clear ache but not reset browser settings, a number of users get into the trap of malware which roams in poorly protected websites.
Additionally, users might be exposed to dangerous threats when they download content from websites which host illegal content, such as cracked software or keygens. Malware creators can inject these executables[3] with malicious code which gets activated as soon as the file is extracted.
Furthermore, mobile users still do not take cyber security seriously. They do not secure their phones with anti-virus software. Therefore, lets give you some advice how to strengthen the security of your phone:
