Daugava is an adware that shows annoying ads and may redirect users to unsafe websites
Daugava is a potentially unwanted program that is designed to show additional ads. We don't think that it is worth your attention. After downloading this browser extension to your computer, you may become unpleasantly surprised by the number of its ads.
Of course, most of the PC users install Daugava expecting to see its ads and deals on their computers. However, they have no idea that these notifications can show up even when they are not shopping online. If you don't like to deal with ads when reading the news or visiting entertainment sites, you should avoid this browser add-on.
Also, we cannot guarantee that after clicking on the Daugava ads you will get an opportunity to save some money. Mostly, such ads are displayed for redirecting people to required websites that are trying to increase their popularity or the number of their visitors.
Besides, we have to warn you that the latest version, Daugava 2.0.0.701, may redirect you to a website that is considered unsafe. To prevent all possible viruses, you should treat each of its warnings with extreme carefulness.
Of course, the easiest way to stay safe is to remove Daugava from the system. Since technically it is not a virus, you can remove it quite easily.

Beware that this program has been actively spread with the help of bundling, which means that it may infiltrate your computer without being noticed. If you have already been seeing Daugava ads for a while, there is a huge possibility that it is hiding in your PC system.
Besides, there is one more thing that you have to warn you about. This potentially unwanted program may start tracking you as soon as it drops its extension on your web browser.
Typically, Daugava 2.0.0.701 and other browser add-ons collect non-personally identifiable information, such as search terms, mostly visited websites, information that you leave on your favorite sites, computer's IP address, location, and other details.
As we have mentioned, this information is not considered personal. However, we would like to recommend you keep it private. If these facts bother you, you should waste no time and remove Daugava virus. SpyHunterCombo Cleaner, MalwarebytesMalwarebytes, or another reputable anti-spyware software will help you to do that automatically or you can do it manually. We provide simple instructions at the end of this article.
To avoid adware in the future, carefully install new programs
We have already mentioned, that this particular adware spreads with the help of two different methods. You can install it manually, or it may infiltrate your computer without your knowledge. If you think that you are dealing with adware, it is very likely that you installed some freeware/shareware that had more than you expected.
PUPs and adware-type programs are usually hidden in the Advanced or Custom options, and if users are too lazy to check them, they bring this infiltration on themselves. Therefore, to avoid the stealth installation, monitor each of the installation steps attentively. Deselect everything that seems suspicious or you do not want to end up on your computer.
What is more, avoid suspicious third-party installers and download managers which are notorious for distributing bundled software. It is not wise to download suspicious programs.
Daugava removal is quite simple
While thousands of people call the Daugava virus, security experts claim that it is a potentially unwanted program or adware. However, you can still detect this program on your computer with the help of updated anti-spyware. Before running a full system scan, make sure you update it to its latest version.
Also, we should add that it is not that difficult to remove Daugava Ads with a help of the manual removal method. You only need to follow each of the removal steps that are given below very carefully and perform each of them in exact order.
Please, keep in mind that you should get rid of Daugava Ads to avoid all possible risks, such as misleading ads, redirects to unknown websites, tracking, and others. We do not recommend keeping this potentially unwanted program on your computer.
