If you prefer shopping online, such behavior might become highly unpleasant since the Light Manager ads might replace the commercial offers displayed by other online companies. Thus, they deprive you of the ability to see objective shopping information. In addition, these ads are purely useless since they are all pay-per-click banners and coupons.

Questions about Light Manager ads

The adware might make you lose your temper since it tends to cause redirects. They occur at times when you enter a certain search result or after clicking on specific advertisements. Since Light Manager is supported by anonymous third-parties, it is likely that you may find yourself on their respective web pages, which might not always be secure. They are often used as temporary shelter by malware and viruses. Thus, if you happen to stay there too long, the chances double that you will get infected with those viruses lurking there.

In addition, beware of the offers to install new programs or update the existing ones while Light Manager resides on the computer. Since it is a suspicious application and it may redirect to questionable domains, there is a probability that you will install fake security program or download an update which is enhanced by malignant files. Thus, after these programs start rummaging on your device, a series of unpleasant activities may appear, such as significantly decreased PC performance and regular program crashes. All in all, you should remove Light Manager as soon as possible.

When did I run into the adware?

Most likely, you installed it unintentionally along with a recently downloaded file converter or media player. Without having any suspicion that additional suspicious programs might attempt to invade your computer, you started the installation process. Usually, Light Manager hijack occurs when the respective add-on is left pre-marked. Clicking the “Install” button not only enables the installation of the primary software but the adware as well. In order to escape the fate of getting infected with this annoying PUP again, change your usual sequence of actions. First of all, select “Advanced” settings. Only then, when you are sure that no pre-marked add-ons remain, start the installation.
