Sammsoft Toolbar - 2021 update
Sammsoft Toolbar Removal Guide
What is Sammsoft Toolbar?
Sammsoft Toolbar – a browser hijacker you should avoid at all costs

Sammsoft Toolbar is another program, which has initiated various discussions on the Internet. Some of them claim that this program is nothing else but a virus; others believe that this is just another toolbar, which can help them to improve their browsing experience.
In reality, Sammsoft Toolbar is not a virus nor malware. However, you should still try to avoid it because it may lead you to annoying and sometimes very suspicious activities on your computer. First of all, it may hijack each of your web browsers without your approval.
In addition, it may alter your start page and the default search engine right after hijacking your PC system. As a result, you may find serious issues when trying to browse normally because each of your search sessions may be filled with:
- pop-up ads;
- banner ads;
- in-text links;
- and similar content.
In addition, you may notice Sammsoft redirects because this toolbar, just like any other potentially unwanted program (PUPs) and browser hijacker, seeks to promote its affiliate parties. We can't guarantee that each of the websites that are promoted with the help of such a technique is safe, so it would be better that you would try to avoid Sammsoft Toolbar redirects to unknown sites and continue using Google, Yahoo, or Bing search engine.
Besides, this program may initiate another suspicious activity that is known as tracking of user's browsing activity on the web. It may collect information about your search terms, mostly visited websites, data that you enter when visiting them, etc.
Additionally, it can also know what is your email address, PC's location, and PC's IP address is. This information is considered personally non-identifiable, but we don't recommend revealing it to unknown parties.
As you can see, this program is quite suspicious – it may alter some of your system settings, hijack each of your browsers, and start displaying continuous pop-up advertisements. Be sure that all these things are used for the only thing – improve web traffic, collect sales, or simply boost the advertising revenue.
That's why we don't recommend trusting potentially unwanted programs and keeping them on your computer. If you want to remove Sammsoft Toolbar, you can try performing a full system scan with anti-malware software, such as SpyHunter 5Combo Cleaner. If a scan revealed that there are other malicious programs on your device, delete them and use FortectIntego to fix virus damage automatically.
Browser hijackers are rarely installed intentionally
Sammsoft Toolbar is available at various well-known download websites, such as Cnet, Softonic, and Brothersoft. However, in most cases, it shows up on computers after downloading freeware and shareware. This way of distribution is called 'bundling' and has initiated various discussions on security forums.
However, today, when everything is related to money, it shouldn't surprise you that legitimate programs are filled with various free add-ons, toolbars, and extensions. In order to avoid Sammsoft Toolbar, you should start choosing Custom or Advanced installation when downloading freeware from the Internet. In addition, you should find the checkmark that says that you agree to download this program.
Eliminate Sammsoft Toolbar with ease
Security researchers highly advise users to stay away from potentially unwanted programs, as not only are they potential cause of other PUP infections, but they can also significantly diminish the web browsing experience. If you want to remove Sammsoft Toolbar from your computer, you have two options:
