Remove Websearch.SearchRocket.info - Jan 2021 update
Websearch.searchrocket.info is a sneaky search engine, which has also been labeled as a browser hijacker
Websearch.searchrocket.info is a program you should be very careful with, because it may show you altered search results when it is used for searching the web. In addition, it may show you lots of commercial ads and links in its search results that may redirect you to unknown and suspicious websites.
If you want to avoid them, you should use only reputable search sites, such as Google, Yahoo, or Bing. If Websearch.searchrocket.info gets into its target PC system, it may start its activity with system modifications that can easily make you look at a new start page or default search engine.
In addition, it may start causing redirects on each of your web browsers that seek only to trick people into visiting predetermined websites. Be sure that it is done not for letting you know about these unknown domains. This is done for helping these websites to increase their page rank or sales.
Some of them may be filled with useless programs that are seeking to increase their popularity, so you should try to avoid Websearch.searchrocket.info redirects as hard as you can.
Otherwise, you can be redirected to a malicious website that promotes malware. Besides, this search engine is similar to other search sites, so there is no surprise that it is capable of:
- tracking people's browsing activity
- collecting such data as their most visited websites
- and data that they enter when visiting them
No matter that such information is considered as personally non-identifiable, you should be very careful with programs that have the ability to collect it because you can never know what parties are capable of reaching it.
Websearch.searchrocket.info and similar programs might use similar strategies to enter users PCs
This search engine is promoted via two different methods. You can make it your start page or default search engine consciously or not. If you want to prevent unexpected infiltration of this browser hijacker, you should start monitoring the installation of the freeware.
If you don't monitor this process, you can easily find out that Websearch.searchrocket.info infiltrated your PC system and now is waiting for your first search session. If you want to avoid that, you have to double check each of freewares before their installation.
For that you should select Custom or Advanced installation method. In addition, make sure you have an updated anti-virus and anti-spyware on your computer if you want to prevent such PUPs like this one. As soon as it gets inside, it may easily alter your system's settings and may also modify each of your browsers.

Choose a proper web browser and improve your safety with a VPN tool
Online spying has got momentum in recent years and people are getting more and more interested in how to protect their privacy online. One of the basic means to add a layer of security – choose the most private and secure web browser. Although web browsers can't grant full privacy protection and security, some of them are much better at sandboxing, HTTPS upgrading, active content blocking, tracking blocking, phishing protection, and similar privacy-oriented features. However, if you want true anonymity, we suggest you employ a powerful Private Internet Access VPN – it can encrypt all the traffic that comes and goes out of your computer, preventing tracking completely.
Lost your files? Use data recovery software
While some files located on any computer are replaceable or useless, others can be extremely valuable. Family photos, work documents, school projects – these are types of files that we don't want to lose. Unfortunately, there are many ways how unexpected data loss can occur: power cuts, Blue Screen of Death errors, hardware failures, crypto-malware attack, or even accidental deletion.
To ensure that all the files remain intact, you should prepare regular data backups. You can choose cloud-based or physical copies you could restore from later in case of a disaster. If your backups were lost as well or you never bothered to prepare any, Data Recovery Pro can be your only hope to retrieve your invaluable files.

Your removal instructions are not as simple as that. There are at least a dozen, if not more, registry entries that keep Websearch.searchrocket.info redirect virus alive and well. You will need a program called SpyHunter 4 (best choice) or Anvi Slim ToolBar (second choice) to fully remove the entire virus which include registry entries, folders and files on your computer.
