WinZipper Removal Guide
What is WinZipper?
Why should you protect your computer from WinZipper?
Since there are so many different software currently on the market, it is not surprising that people often mistake WinZipper virus with WinZip or other legitimate data compression utilities. These programs may offer the same service and generally seem really similar, except they are not. For instance, the WinZip is a reputable program you can use for archiving and encrypting your data, whereas the reliability of WinZipper developed by Taiwan Shui Mu Chih Ching Technology Limited is rather questionable. In this article we will highlight some downsides of this program, give some advice on how to avoid its infiltration and discuss WinZipper removal options.
To begin with, it’s worth mentioning that Taiwan Shui Mu Chih Ching Technology Limited is also responsible for the release of qone8.com and isearch.omiga-plus.com browser hijackers which may be treated as the first sign indicating that WinZipper is not a reliable application either. In fact, it’s categorized as an adware and a potentially unwanted program (PUP) which at the first glimpse may really appear as a genuine and powerful file compression tool. Unfortunately, the users often report that WinZipper automatically installed on their computers without asking permission which only justifies the initial presumptions about this application. Moreover, as time goes by, you may also notice that your Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and other web browsers that are installed on your PC started generating tens of pop-up, pop-under, banner, in-text, full-page ads labeled as “Ads by WinZipper”, “WinZipper Ads”, “Powered by WinZipper”. It’s crucial to stay away from those advertisements because they may be linked to suspicious third party websites where you may catch another computer infection. In addition to that, this deceptive program may also use your PC’s resources, slow down the system and even monitor your online activities in order to investigate your browsing habits. If you have installed virus unintentionally, bear all the aforementioned facts in mind and remove WinZipper without any hesitation. For that, try using FortectIntego.
Is your computer really safe from this virus?
If you are looking for the way to remove WinZipper virus, you are in the right place. However, we believe that before doing that you want to find out how this program entered your PC. Our security experts have performed a small research on this app and found out that it may be promoted via 4Zip(dot)com. To be more precise, after clicking on “Get 4Zip Download Free” button, the installation wizard of WinZipper may show up. Since the name of this adware signals that this app should also work as a file compressor, people fall for installing it without suspecting anything. In addition to that, it’s very important to pay an appropriate amount of attention to the installation process of various freeware because programs, such as WinZipper and other adware are commonly distributed bundled with other freeware and shareware. In order to opt out of ‘additional components’ that your selected free program may be filled with, it’s a MUST to select Advanced or Custom installation option and check everything step-by-step. If you notice an offer to install WinZipper service or another browser add-on, plug-in, toolbar or extension, make sure that you opt out of it.

How to prevent from getting adware
Choose a proper web browser and improve your safety with a VPN tool
Online spying has got momentum in recent years and people are getting more and more interested in how to protect their privacy online. One of the basic means to add a layer of security – choose the most private and secure web browser. Although web browsers can't grant full privacy protection and security, some of them are much better at sandboxing, HTTPS upgrading, active content blocking, tracking blocking, phishing protection, and similar privacy-oriented features. However, if you want true anonymity, we suggest you employ a powerful Private Internet Access VPN – it can encrypt all the traffic that comes and goes out of your computer, preventing tracking completely.
Lost your files? Use data recovery software
While some files located on any computer are replaceable or useless, others can be extremely valuable. Family photos, work documents, school projects – these are types of files that we don't want to lose. Unfortunately, there are many ways how unexpected data loss can occur: power cuts, Blue Screen of Death errors, hardware failures, crypto-malware attack, or even accidental deletion.
To ensure that all the files remain intact, you should prepare regular data backups. You can choose cloud-based or physical copies you could restore from later in case of a disaster. If your backups were lost as well or you never bothered to prepare any, Data Recovery Pro can be your only hope to retrieve your invaluable files.
