Uninstall from Windows

Delete Asrv-a.akamaihd.net virus from Windows OS by following these instructions:

1. Click Start → Control Panel → Programs and Features (if you are Windows XP user, click on Add/Remove Programs).
2. If you are Windows 10 / Windows 8 user, then right-click in the lower left corner of the screen. Once Quick Access Menu shows up, select Control Panel and Uninstall a Program.
3. Uninstall Asrv-a.akamaihd.net pop-up and related programs
   Here, look for Asrv-a.akamaihd.net pop-up or any other recently installed suspicious programs.
4. Uninstall them and click OK to save these changes.

Delete from macOS

Macs can also get infected with adware, so follow this guide if it is showing adware symptoms:

1. If you are using OS X, click Go button at the top left of the screen and select Applications.

Delete extensions from MS Edge (Chromium):

Clear cache and site data:

1. Click on Menu and go to Settings.
2. Select Privacy, search and services.
3. Under Clear browsing data, pick Choose what to clear.
4. Under Time range, pick All time.
5. Select Clear now.

Reset Chromium-based MS Edge:

Clear cache and web data from Chrome:
