Syginre – a cyber threat that could result in a complete system failure

Syginre is a trojan carrying a destructive payload. The parasite deletes some text documents, images, archives, audio and video files, as well as local web pages and program sources. It also attempts to erase all the system files and remove installed software.
This destroys the system and prevents it from booting. Syginre can also modify essential system settings, change keyboard and mouse options and disable important system tools such as the Registry Editor or the Run utility. Furthermore, it can change the Internet Explorer default home page, alter Microsoft Word security options, disable the Windows Firewall and create numerous infected files. You have to remove it immediately.

Syginre trojan is a very hazardous computer infection. By disabling the firewall and default antivirus software, it exposes your device to infections with additional malware, such as ransomware, keyloggers, etc. Its removal might seem complicated, but you can do it within a couple of minutes.
First, you have to reboot your PC in Safe Mode with Networking (instructions below) and download a trustworthy security tool. After installation, update it with the latest virus signatures and perform a full system scan. A proper AV tool should automatically detect, isolate and remove any threats, including Syginre.
Such cyber infections can cause havoc on your system files and settings. If left unattended, these modifications might result in various system issues, including BSoDs, severe lag, system failure, etc. Resolve all these system issues by running a system tune-up with compatible software.
