What is Inancukan.xyz ads?
Inancukan.xyz ads: a phenomenon that might put your computer security at risk
Inancukan.xyz is a fake website that shows misleading messages
Inancukan.xyz is a dubious website one might encounter after being redirected from somewhere else on the web – either by clicking a link or taken by a malicious script. However, that's not how most users encounter this address – they instead see strange pop-ups shown at the corner of their screens on random occasions. They are shown on top of all the other running Windows or Mac apps, making the activity rather intrusive.
If you are suffering from the same problem and are unaware of what is going on – it is because you allowed Inancukan.xyz to show push notifications sometime prior. Keep in mind that most users do not subscribe to push notifications from malicious websites on purpose, and they are rather tricked into doing so in one way or another.
For example, you might be told that you need to press the “Allow” button in order to confirm that you are not a robot. This is one of the most common techniques used by push notification scam websites, as many users have seen or heard of verification procedures some websites use, e.g., captchas or picture selection. Using common and known traits of familiar features is one of the main phishing techniques that work well on people, especially those who are less familiar with IT.
It is important to note that if you encounter redirects to Inancukan.xyz, Smscoldne.xyz, Notificationstech.com, Rplnd23.com, or similar websites, there could be a potentially unwanted program such as adware or other malware installed on your system. We will explain how to get rid of the unwanted app, and how to stop the intrusive pop-ups as well.

Dangers of push notifications
As previously mentioned, the unwanted pop-ups show up due to the push notifications that were allowed from Inancukan.xyz at some time before. Many people can fail to distinguish between these and regular advertisements that they see after they access a website, and unsurprisingly so, as both look almost identical.
The main difference is that push notifications are a feature of any modern web browser and are not inherently malicious, although they can be used by malicious websites to insert advertisements of dubious nature. Quite often, the authors of push notification scams are using insecure ad networks for the monetization purposes
Push notification scams are quite common
Therefore, many users who subscribe to push notifications from dubious websites might be exposed to even more malicious content – here are a few examples:
- Get-rich-quick schemes might ask users to invest some money into seemingly quick and easy returns. These are also commonly accompanied by fake stories from local celebrities and other famous people. Do not believe this, as not only might you lose your money but also have your personal details stolen;
- Some push notifications might include fake alerts about system security; for example, people might be told that their anti-malware license has expired and they need to renew it or that viruses were found on their devices. The purpose of these scams is to make users download potentially unwanted or malicious software.
Please ignore these notifications and never get tricked by their offers. Instead, use the next section of this article to stop the intrusive ads once and for all.

Adware checks to make
Adware could be one of the primary reasons why you end up on potentially dangerous websites in the first place. As soon as this software is installed, it performs a variety of browser and sometimes system changes in order to perform its functions – to monetize user clicks on ads, otherwise known as pay-per-click revenue.[2]
Adware is also commonly developed by less than trustworthy parties and lacks useful features that would compensate for intrusive advertisements. In some cases, ads might also be of dubious nature: advertise other potentially unwanted programs, show fake update prompts, and more.
Therefore, if you have spotted strange browser behavior under any circumstances, you should always check your system with SpyHunter 5Combo Cleaner, Malwarebytes, or another reputable anti-malware. After that, it is important to clean your browsers from various leftovers, such as cookies[3] and other web data, to stop tracking that could otherwise continue. You can employ FortectIntego for a quick solution or proceed with the manual steps below.
