PC MightyMax – fake cleaning tool which manages to bombard the computer user with false alerts about detected malware
PC MightyMax is considered to be a fake optimization tool which displays only fake warnings during its activity on victim's system. Such program can infiltrate the system stealthily or you can download it from its official website. Once inside the computer, it starts producing numerous warnings about various system threats and infections. Delete from macOS
Remove the unwanted application:
- From the menu bar, select Go > Applications.
- In the Applications folder, look for any suspicious entries, then drag them to Trash (or right-click and pick Move to Trash).
Delete leftover files and folders:
- Select Go > Go to Folder.
- Enter /Library/Application Support and remove any suspicious folders related to the unwanted program.
- Repeat the same check in the /Library/LaunchAgents and /Library/LaunchDaemons folders, deleting any suspicious entries.
- Finally, empty the Trash to permanently remove the leftovers.

Removing it is easy... go to START, then click on RUN... type in taskmgr in the box. then click go and highlight pcmightymax and hit GO !!!! and it is gone...

I downloaded PCmighty max and it has not done a thing for my computer. In fact it has slowed it down to a crawl. I am 70 yrs. old and cannot remove it from my computer.

The easiest way to get rid of this pest is to block it in the start-up, either in the task manager or using ccleaner, (tools/ start-up )which is a free download,(pest free as well). This will not remove it but it will be effectively dead.

How To Remove

I have just tried what you have sugested here, it is a little different with win-7. Taskmgr>PCMightyMax>remove it was that simple. Thank you for the info. This did delete that pain in the ass program, and I am delighted. While I had taskmgr up I also looked through all the diferent places that this program could hide i.e., service, etc. thank you again for excellant advice.

go to taskmanager, click on applications, select the application, right click on it and select go to process, right click and select open file location, go back to apllication and end the process. after ending the process go to the file location and delete the folder completely

try going to task manager look for TrayIcon that is an app for mighty max. You can look at "properties" to make sure it is MM. I hit end program.

Spybot did not get rid of the pop-ups, but after I followed your recomendations, I then had to delete it from my trash bin. Now the icon is gone and no more pop-ups.

We have windows XP - we were deceived by "Mighty Max" and they planted their spyware on our computer. We managed to remove it by creating a new folder (in the documents & settings XXXs documents-local documents- appications) where the deception was planted. We then moved the max program into the new folder and were then able to delete the new folder with the max spyware. The &*#%%@s at Shitty Max havent yet anticipated this - however, you can bet they might be watching these boards and are taking notes to add new measures to avoid being defeated by the people they deceive.
Does anyone have the names and address of any of the people involved with this company? Id like to stop by and have a nice friendly chat. If anyone has any name and address information, please post.

The above suggestion worked for me as well...a complete uninstall wizard specifically for PCMightyMax came up and I followed the prompts. i fixed it on win7 by opening using control+alt+delete then open up the task manager and under the tab processes find TrayIcon right click on it and open file location then go to uninstall application (computer icon) it worked for me hopefully it helps others also

Thank you so much for this advise. I have been trying to find a way to get this off my computer for about a year. It is a real pain. This worked well and I also had to use the name of Trayicon.exe to uninstall this program.
