Adware Filter review
We have tested free version of Adware Filter antispyware on absolutely clean computer. Complete system scan was performed. The application has found 5 critical objects related to autorun threats, keylogger and browser hijacker. Deep analysis showed that file waclt~1.exe associated with 3 autorun threats (E-57, E-61, E-74) didn't exist in the named directory C:\Windows\System32. File C:\Windows\System32\zlib.dll, which was detected as a keylogger that also takes screenshots of user activity, actually is legitimate compression and decompression library used by installed safe software. Registry key C333CF63-767F-4831-94AC-E683D962C63C belongs to legitimate TGTSoft StyleXP application, which customizes and enhances the look of Windows XP OS. It definitely is not a browser hijacker. These facts prove that Adware Filter uses false positives. See screenshots provided below.
Free version doesn't remove any objects it found. It asks to register and purchase full product.
