Trust Cleaner is a corrupt anti-spyware program illegally installed to user computers by dangerous trojans, through malicious advertisements and via certain exploits. This application is not only weak spyware remover, but also harmful parasite itself.
We have carefully tested Trust Cleaner on absolutely clean computer that was never infected with any spyware, trojans, viruses or any other malicious parasites. However, the program managed to identify two harmful items. Further analysis revealed that those items are actually related to SpyCatcher Express, legitimate anti-spyware, which does not pose any threat. Take a look on the screenshot provided below.
System scan does not take more than a few seconds. It seems that Trust Cleaner does not check the larger part of the system at all, but searches for threats only in several registry keys. Such scan technique is absolutely ineffective.
The program refuses to remove any malware it finds and asks to register and purchase the full version. Essential Trust Cleaner components – additional security functions are also disabled.
