Hi guys! I am worried about my web browser. I am using Google Chrome; unfortunately, I have noticed that the homepage on it was replaced without my knowledge. Well, I mean, it was replaced without my intervention! It is now set to SearchEngage.com. I have tried to remove SearchEngage.com several times, but no luck. Can you explain how can I fix this problem? Is SearchEngage.com virus, maybe?
Can you help me to replace SearchEngage.com?…

Thank you for your question. We know what you are talking about - it seems that you have installed SearchEngage.com browser hijacker recently, and it has changed your Chrome's settings. This program, which is described as a potentially unwanted one, technically is not a virus.
How it acts: it replaces browser's homepage and default search engine with SearchEngage.com. The reason why you cannot remove SearchEngage.com is that this browser hijacker runs processes that are meant to stop you from replacing browser's homepage. Fortunately, this problem can be solved quite easily. Just uninstall SearchEngage.com by following the instructions provided in this post - SearchEngage.com. How to Remove? (Uninstall Guide).
Good luck!
