The scam claims that users who subscribe to a certain youtube channel and download a promoted application will be given a prize of $1000 or even $10000.
The new pop-up scam is plaguing the web, and it's not just a nuisance. It pops up when users are scrolling through Facebook or browsing other sites with ads that employ fake video players to generate revenue for their creators by duping people into clicking on embedded links.
