I got Flash Player Pro on my PC today. Malwarebytes and AVG 2013 did not catch it loading. Nor did CCleaner trash it when I exited the browser. I loaded trial versions of SPYHUNTER, SPYWARE TERMINATOR, and SuperAntiSpyware software and all of them failed to find or identify the FLASH PLAYER PRO PROGRAM in with the other program files. I attempted to uninstall it using the basic MS uninstall utility and the Ccleaner Uninstall, but both linked back to the Flash Player Pro’s Uninstall program and I was very apprehensive about it’s true actions. Whether it would uninstall the software or further entrench the program into the system.
Any tips available on how to proceed from here? Is restarting the system going to create more problems?
First of all, you should try scanning your computer with Malwarebytes Antimalware. If it fails to find this virus, reboot your computer to Safe Mode with Networking at first and repeat a scan. For it, you can use any of these programs that were mentioned on your question above.
Finally, you should remember that if you download the licensed version of Spyhunter on your computer, you can receive a help from its technicians and they can remove this virus for you. Here is more about that: What to do when Antispyware program fails to remove infection?
I have run updated versions of Malwarebytes, AVG 2013 and Spy Hunter 4 pointed directly at the files and they have not reported any infections. Full system scans are clear, but the hijacking continues. I also checked my browsers and their tools, exts, etc. What's next?
