A few days ago I saw notifications pop up stating my computer was infected with several viruses. Those messages are labelled as PC Help Center Tools. At first, I panicked and ran a system scan, but still the notifications keep appearing. Can you suggest an effective way to terminate these messages? Or is it a virus?

thank your for your question. First of all, we would clarify the fact that, luckily, it is not a virus. PC Help Center Tools is classified as adware. Its primary task is to display misleading security messages and convince you to call the specified support number. Do not do it because the scammers of this adware only aim to receive income from such scam. Usually, the call is charged at an extremely high rate. Moreover, if you accidentally call the number, decline any offers to purchase security software. It might be infected! Detailed information about the peculiarities of this adware is provided here:PC Help Center Tools removal. What you should do is to scan the operating system with an anti-spyware program. Therefore, check the application list whether there are any suspicious programs and uninstall them. We hope this will help you to successfully remove the application.
